My Story
Well hello, and welcome to My Story. I am married to my soul mate Robert since Nov. 23, 1990, and a mother of five amazing children. I am also proud to say I am a grandmother of 11 amazing grandchilren. ( updated May 2013) My story is to me priceless.. I adore The Scentsy Family and this is my story.
June 2013 ~ I started my Scentsy Family journey on March 19, 2011, with the idea of supporting my habit of Scentsy Wickless Candles and Wax. Within the first 15 days I realized that this was much more than I thought. I had hit my Shooting Star Reward without even knowing about it ( yes, I never read my Start Up Guide, as I thought I would just be buying for myself), matter of fact I knocked it out of the ball park! Once people knew I was a consultant they came crawling out of the wood work ordering from me. I soon reach my Scentsational Start Level 2, and on to earn my first Incentive Trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic... ALL within the first 10 months!
I am neither a pushy sales person nor a “grab them” recruiter, yet in the past 2 years my team has grown to 21, with 18 being myself and my own personal recruits. After Convention in Las Vegas in 2012, I was “ALL IN” and realized this is much more than a hobby or a self-supporting habit, it is a career, and I can take to any level I desire. My income now is where I can be proud to say “I am a Direct Sales Consultant for the Scentsy Family”.
As I sit here and pack for yet another Scentsational all-expense paid vacation to Whislter BC Canada, I count my blessings that I choose to join the family, yes I say family. This company has not just given me some financial freedom but they gave me something more valuable, FRIENDSHIPS across the United States and abroad. Scentsy has lifted my own self-image and has given me the PRIDE in myself.
Above all is what the Scentsy Family stands for... “Give more then you take”. I am honored and proud that I am involved with a company that teaches, allows and involves us in the most amazing feeling in the world... “Giving Back”. Sept. 2013 ~ Promoted to Director.. #doubleyay! Add my husband to my business.. we are now Directors of Team Watch Me Shine
January 2014 ~ Attended Leadership in Cancun, Mexico.. so rewarding and I can not wait to use wait to use what we learned to help our team REACH THE STARS!
Feb. 2014 ~ Wow I am in shock!! Just recieved a email that my husband and I will be traveling to GREECE with the Scentsy Family in May... We were one of the top 100 point earners of the company within the United States and Canada.. I am actually numb with this email.. All expense paid vacation to the #1 location on my bucket list!! This job just keeps getting better and better.. SO BLESSED!
Since Greece I have earned additional amazing Vacations to include two Cruises ( 4 day and a 7 day) and Cyprus!!!
